book club tonight! (kind of)
Remember like two months ago when I announced that we’re starting a book club? Well tonight is the first one!
Tonight at 8pm EST will be the first book club, discussing Becoming Trader Joe by Joe Coloumbe on Zoom.
However, in a weird turn of events I actually haven’t finished the book yet. Which actually creates a cool scenario for tonight!
If you have read and finished the book, great! Can’t wait to talk about it.
If you haven’t read or even thought about the book or even if you hate Trader Joe’s (doubtful, but possible), you can still join! The intention is simply to form community. So basically, the Zoom meeting tonight will be a chance to get to know each other, what types of books we do or do not like to read, and to form some intentional community.
Paid subscribers to the newsletter will receive the Zoom link at 7:45pm EST. If you would like to join the meeting but can’t (or don’t want to, no judgment) swing the $5, just reply to this email and I’ll make sure you get the link.
In case you forgot, here is some info:
How will this work?
The book club will take place on Zoom at 8pm EST on the first Friday of each month. Paid subscribers to this newsletter will receive the Zoom link and any other necessary info.
Bring a snack, bring a drink, bring the book if you want. It’ll be super casual.
Why do I have to pay?
The internet is a weird place.
Posting a Zoom link on social media is an invitation for a disaster. This way, the book club will be a group of people who are committed to community and not just someone who has nothing else to do and is interested in causing trouble.
If for whatever reason you are unable to pay the subscription fee to receive the book club information, please let me know. I have the ability to give a certain number of free subscriptions and I want to use them! No one will be excluded because of an inability to pay for a subscription.
I’m already subscribing. How do I become a paid subscriber?
Right here! The subscription is $5/month of $50/year.

I am now the regional sales rep for Sock Religious (say it out loud), an awesome company that creates Catholic socks and T-shirts. If you’re interested in seeing what they have available, you can use my affiliate link here. I tried to get Rocco to wear the socks but he was not a fan.
